V2 - Volume Visualization

These are screenshots from the program I am currently developing for my master thesis at the University of Paderborn, Germany. The project is a coorperation between the Research Group of Computer Graphics, Visualization and Image Processing and the Herz- und Diabeteszentrum NRW. The development is focussing on direct volume visualization of medical datasets but should also be able to render any other volume in an expressive way. OpenSG is used as basic rendering backend while the DVRVolume Node was extended for our volume rendering purposes.

The volumes shown in the pictures are the Chapel Hill CT Head and The Tooth. While the developement is still in progress, some more pictures and informations might be added soon. For questions don't hesitate to write me an e-mail (mschwier@upb.de)
